DOUGLAS LAKE
Douglas Lake is one of the largest, most pristine and uncrowded lakes in the entire Smoky Mountains area. It is one of the last lakes of its kind so close to a medium-sized city anywhere in the United States. Recent zoning changes have limited the size and scope of future developments. Douglas Lake is fed by the French Broad River and Nolichucky River, both of which originate in the mountains of North Carolina and Tennessee. The major tourist towns of Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg are located within a short drive of the lake. Douglas Lake has over 550 miles of shoreline and is 43.1 miles long, with a maximum depth of 140 feet. Harbor Crest is located on the northern shoreline of Douglas Lake offering some of the best lake and mountain vistas anywhere. Douglas Lake is a sportsman’s paradise renowned for its fine fishing and great recreational boating. Water skiing, wakeboarding, or just casually relaxing by our exquisite olympic pool on a summer day are a few of the great benefits of this unique lakefront property. There are even fine restaurants you can boat to for a relaxing night out.
